Lavender Closet pop-up.

I was commissioned by UNL’s LGBTQIA+ Center to create a poster to advertise their upcoming event, the lavender closet pop-up, which provides free gender affirming clothing to students on campus. For this poster, I focused primarily on creating emotion-driven elements and incorporated design features from postmodernism, as this was the time period when artists highlighted counterculture movements and a process free approach to design. My goal was to affirm students and individuals in a predominately red state that they deserve to feel like themselves and encourage them to find power in the UNL LGBTQIA+ community.
