Get ready to party with Robo Groove, a 3D animation project starring a robot arm as a DJ. I wanted to highlight the similarities between humans and machine, in a classic Cyberpunk fashion, as well as center the piece on female experiences (peppa pig, the turquoise gameboy, and a woman yelling in the bathroom telling everyone her juicy drama). I created a rig for this robot arm to move at each joint, producing fluid animations for digging through boxes, throwing objects, and dancing to its own personal song selection.
